Bio
I have always had a camera in my hands so it seems. I still have the camera my dad bought in 1946 at an Army base somewhere in Germany. It’s a beautiful relic that reminds me of the passion we both shared.
Moving into the digital age means more than understanding lighting, composition and the skill to get a model or child to relax in front of the camera. Digital means having an efficient workflow and knowledge of pixels, healing tools and curves. Processing in RAW means greater control over the digital negative and being able to create art from it.
Deadlines mean something to me. I did not take the usual path by graduation from photography school but worked in Corporate America where tight budget still meant that a high quality product would still have to be delivered on time. Art and Photography are no different because art buyers are business people who have to meet requirements for their clients.
